New Spy Shots of the 2013 Honda Accord

If the first shots of the new 2013 Honda Accord had you a bit puzzled, fear not, as you were not the only one.It seemed as though Honda had already mande the big reveal of the nex-gen Accord through the coup concept they revealed at the 2012 North American International Auto Show. However, we were willing to bet that when we saw the Accord production prototype was covered in camouflage, there must be more than Honda was letting on.

As it just so happens our instincts were right. New spy shots of the latest Accord have been taken, with almost nothing hidden at all. So what was Honda hiding?

First and foremost, under the vehicles headlights there is a smaller grille; the design of which is actually inspired by the Honda Concept C from this year's Beijing Motor Show. What we find to be most interesting and revealing from these spy shots is the addition of a second fuel tank cover on the drivers side door. It indicates that the vehicle in the images is not really the 2013 Honda Accord after all, but instead the 2013 Honda Accord Plug-In hybrid.

Does this mean it will be released at the same time as its pure-gasoline model? That's what many are hoping, including us here at Gurley Leep Honda, located at 2200 Bypass Rd. And with that being said, we cant confirm anything right now, but be sure to stay tuned as we will give you any updates as soon as we know them ourselves.
